Two Wake County business leaders were recently selected to serve as the newest members of Wake Education Partnership’s Board of Directors.

Those selected for the three-year appointments were Patty Briguglio, president of MMI Public Relations, and Art Glasgow, chief information officer and vice president for Duke Medicine.

Briguglio is a recognized expert in the public relations industry and a frequent source for radio, television and print articles on public relations, crisis management and economic development. As the president of a PR firm that is regularly recognized as one of the best in the Triangle, Briguglio has received numerous local and state awards.

Glasgow is responsible for leading technology strategy, innovation, initiatives and operations throughout Duke Medicine, which is made up of the Duke University Health System, the Duke School of Medicine, Duke School of Nursing, and the Duke faculty practice plan. In addition, he works in collaboration with Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School in Singapore and Duke Medicine’s other global partners to develop an IT strategy.

The terms for both directors begins immediately.
