Hi, I’m Hannah Naylor, a senior at Meredith College majoring in Mass Communication and Public Relations, with minors in Professional Writing and Presentation Media, and Sociology. While at Meredith I have served in leadership positions with Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society, Sigma Tau Delta Honor Society, and the Meredith Communication Club. Last semester, I researched, wrote and presented my senior thesis and completed undergraduate research on Emotional Intelligence in Higher Education.
After graduation, I plan to pursue a corporate job in Communication and Public Relations while obtaining my master’s degree. Eventually, I would like to pursue a doctorate and teach in higher education, ideally at Meredith. I’d love to help students, like me, ignite a passion for education, just like educators throughout my life have done for me.
I am thrilled to be interning with WakeEd Partnership, helping in a Public Relations and Marketing position. My role as “Storyteller” aims to publicize the phenomenal work WakeEd does, allowing the public to have a look behind the scenes of the magic that happens every day because of WakeEd. I’m also a dog mom, an avid Jane Austen fan, and love the beach.
