You’ve no doubt recognized the uptick in political ads on radio, television, and in newspapers, right? General elections are right around the corner. November 4, 2014 is six weeks away. Are you registered to vote in Wake County? Do you know where your polling site is located? Are you aware of local and state elections that will impact you?

Many of our local chambers of commerce are hosting candidate forums or have published voters’ guides for your information. The Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce has prepared a voter’s guide featuring unaltered candidate responses. The Morrisville Chamber of Commerce is holding a Candidate Forum on September 29th. The Holly Springs and Fuquay-Varina Chambers of Commerce are hosting a Wake County Board of Commissioners Candidate Form on October 2nd. The Wake Forest Chamber is hosting a Candidates Meet & Greet on October 13th. The Cary Chamber of Commerce is hosting a District Attorney Candidate Forum on October 16th.
