Internships

WakeEd Partnership has one requirement for our interns – passion. We need interns who are passionate about improving education in the Wake County Public School System.

Our interns will walk away with real-world experiences that are applicable inside and outside the world of nonprofits. They will meet with business leaders, get inside classrooms, evaluate programs and much more. We work with all of the local universities to develop an internship program that is robust and suits your needs. Our small staff allows interns to receive one-on-one interaction and have a tailored internship to match their degree program.

Communications Internship

Develop a portfolio of experiences that demonstrate communication skills in marketing, web development, social media management and event programming (Read more).

Nonprofit Programs Internship

Develop a portfolio of experiences that demonstrate program management in a non-profit environment (Read more).

Research Internship

Develop a portfolio of experiences that demonstrate research, policy, and advocacy as it relates to public education and non-profit partnership (Coming Soon).
