4Others Foundation To Double All Donations to WakeEd Partnership’s Tools4Schools with new $25,000 Matching Grant
RALEIGH, N.C. —WakeEd Partnership (WakeEd) has announced a new $25,000 matching grant from the 4Others Foundation. The 4Others Foundation will match any donation to WakeEd Partnership’s Tools4Schools through the end of the year (December 31, 2022) up to $25,000. All funds raised will help re-stock the shelves at WakeEd’s free classroom supply store for teachers, Tools4Schools.
“The 4Others Foundation has been such a key partner for Tools4Schools, first helping us secure the startup funds to open the doors in January and then again this summer supporting our Community Supply Drive and now is helping us raise much needed funds to support the teachers of Wake County and keep our shelves fully stocked,” said Keith Poston, President, WakeEd Partnership.
Since Tools4Schools opened in January 2022, Tools4Schools has:
· Provided free classroom supplies to more than 2,200 Wake County teachers.
· Teachers from 83% of Wake County’s 198 schools have visited at least once.
· Given away $96,318 in new school supplies and more than 30,000 items to teachers since July!
· Nearly 3,000 Wake County Public Schools teachers have registered to shop, 27 percent of all Wake educators. All gifts to WakeEd Partnership and Tools4Schools are tax-deductible. Checks can be mailed to WakeEd Partnership at 3101 Industrial Drive, Suite 100, Raleigh, NC 27609, with Tools4Schools on the memo line.
